UAIS (sounds like Oosh) Triple Blend Irish Whiskey is named for one of the famed Three Colla brothers who once ruled ancient Ireland. It is a whiskey that honours the past but moves in bold new directions. A triple blend which fuses three types of Irish whiskey in perfect harmony; 25% Pot Still, 25% Single Malt and 50% Grain whiskey. Then left to age in ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks. On the nose, heavy malty tones give way to rich biscuit and vanilla. The taste is sweet dried fruits and a warming pot-still spice. The finish is sweet and fudgy with lots of vanilla and a light chewiness. With sustainability at the heart of Ahascragh Distillery, the bottle and paper label is made from 100% recycled materials, the stopper is made from sustainable wood and the seal is made from a biodegradable vegetable-based material.
