Released in 2019, The Evolution is a limited edition blended Scotch whisky and the oldest Tweeddale to date. A combination of Speyside single malts and a Lowland single grain, with the youngest component whisky being 28 years old. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 51.8%.

Nose:Juicy blackcurrant, cherries, plums, and creamy waxy notes. Lemon icing. On a second nosing, freshly baked pastries, and a hint of honey.

Palate:Big, full, juicy front palate. Christmas cake notes, blackcurrant and pear (almost glhwein-like fruity, sweetness) and a dash of orange zest.

Finish:Slight hint of American oak sharpening and structuring the finish. Touch of milk chocolate too.
