Born on December 9, 1963, in Ejutla, Oaxaca, embodies the essence of Mezcals heritage. From his formative years, he learned the intricacies of Mezcal production at the family ranch. In 2009, Juan returned to his roots in La Noria to reinvigorate a dormant distillery and reignite agave cultivation. For over three years, he has played a pivotal role as head master distiller and shareholder at The Producer Mezcal, showcasing his resilience and dedication to the craft.
