Springbank 9 Year Old Local Barley 2018

Springbank 9 Year Old Local Barley is the fourth release in the distillerys celebrated Local Barley series. Distilled in July 2009 using optic barley from High Cattadale Farm, it was matured in a cask mix of 80% bourbon and 20% sherry before being bottled on 18 October 2018.

This Campbeltown single malt offers layers of honey, biscuit malt, apricot, baking spices, and gentle peat smoke. With only 9,700 bottles released worldwide, its a must-have for Springbank fans and collectors alike.

Bottled at 57.7% ABV.

Nose: Biscuit malt, nutmeg, salted peanuts, and soft peat

Palate: Honey, Victoria sponge, rye crackers, apricot, quince, toasty smoke

Finish: Macadamia nuts, sultanas, pear, and salty coastal air
