Marthas Family Estate has beenproducing exquisite Tawny Port in theDouro Valley since the mid 18th century. For much of that time, their wines weresold to merchants in Porto to be bottledunder other peoples brands. Our Port of Leith Distillery team couldntquite believe their taste-buds when theydiscovered them. This Reserve Tawny hasbeen matured for 6 to 8 years and retainsincredibly pure and vibrant red fruit flavourswith a beautiful nutty undertone. Every one of our casks will come from aproducer we know and admire. This beganwith the launch of our Oloroso Sherry in2018 and continues with our ports; productsthat are forging enduring relationships.

Tasting note: Despite maturing in oak for 6to 8 years, this wine has incredibly youthfulbright red fruit aromas on the nose. On thepallet, its medium bodied, with cherries,plums and cassis, as well as gentle nuttynotes giving it a delicious and beguilingcomplexity.
