North Star Spirit Co Islay Single Malt 2013 South Star 8 Year Old

Distilled at an undisclosed Islay distillery in 2013, this 8-year-old single malt was matured in ten hogsheads and bottled in 2021 by North Star Spirits under their South Star label. Known for their small-batch and single cask bottlings, North Star Spirits has built a strong following since launching in 2016. This limited release is one of just 2,148 bottles and delivers the bold, coastal style that defines Islay whiskywithout revealing its exact origin. Bottled at 48%ABV

Nose: Briny sea spray, wood smoke, and lemon zest.

Palate: Bonfire smoke, salty malt, toasted oak, and a hint of iodine.

Finish: Long, dry, and smoky with lingering coastal notes.
