Glenturret, one of Scotlands oldest distilleries, was rebuilt in 1959 and opened Scotlands second visitor center in 1981. It became the home of The Famous Grouse in 2002 and was acquired by the owner of Lalique crystal in 2018 for premium collaborations.

This is a 1980 vintage bottling of Glenturret, drawn from refill sherry wood in 1996 and bottledat 46% ABV (Bottle size700ml)

Nose: Dried fruits, honey, vanilla, oak, and a hint of spice.

Palate: Smooth with toffee, malt, ripe orchard fruits, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Finish: Long with lingering sweetness, gentle spice, and oak.

This whisky is well-balanced, combining fruity, sweet, and spicy notes.
