Macallans unique single malt is made up of carefully selected casks, each imparting distinctive characteristics. The Exceptional Single Cask series features some of these extraordinary casks in all their glory. Embark on a journey of discovery taken by Macallans whisky makers each time they get to sample whisky straight from the cask. European oak sherry hogshead #5326 was laid down in April 1995, and bottled over 22 years later at 52.7%.

The cask was selected by Master Distiller Bob Dalgarno and saw a limited release of 281 bottles exclusively for the United States and parts of Asia. Macallan Exceptional Single Cask 2017/ESH-5326/06 has a rich nose of fruit cake mix, sticky sweet figs and strawberry jam. On the palate, youll find flavours of orange peel, ground nutmeg and Christmas cake. The finish is zesty and full-bodied.
