Springbank expanded their acclaimed Longrow Red series in 2018, with a new release: an 11-year-old heavily peated Campbeltown single malt. This expression was initially matured in bourbon barrels for 9 years before being transferred to casks previously used for Cabernet Franc wine. The Longrow Red series has previously featured cask finishes in Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Port, Pinot Noir, and Australian Shiraz. Bottled at 55.9%

Palate: Toasted vanilla pod, petrichor, and jammy strawberries are complemented by a zesty orange peel note, all while the strong peat character continues to dominate.
