A highly collectible Lagavulin 16yo from White Horse Distillers. Bottled in the 1980s and early 1990s before the Diageo take over when the label still carried the name of White Horse Distillers. Bottled at 43%.

Nose: Rich peat smoke, dried fruits, and a hint of iodine, with underlying notes of sherry and dark chocolate.

Palate: Full-bodied with flavors of smoky peat, sweet malt, raisins, and hints of vanilla and spice.

Finish: Long and complex with lingering smoke, dried fruit sweetness, and a touch of oak.
