La Tierra de Acre Espadin is made with 7-8 year old Maguey Espadin (Agave angustifolia). Maestro Mezcalero Honorato Cruz mills the agave by tahona, ferments with spring water, and double distills in a 250 liter copper still.
La Tierra de Acre Mezcal began as a bootleg operation in 2017 (originally called Acre Mezcal), tucked away in the foothills of San Jose del Cabo atAcre Baja, a lush sanctuary set on 25 acres of greenery.
