As of early in2022, Kilbeggan Single Grain was officially renamed to Kilbeggan Triple Cask. Theliquid and alcohol level have remained the same, but the new name reflects that this Irish whiskey is matured in three different cask types: American virgin oak, Pedro Ximnez sherry and ex-bourbon. As well as the renaming, Kilbeggan Triple Cask now also has a redesigned label. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Coconut cream and vanilla with notes of jellied fruit and summer red berries.
Palate: Wafer-like biscuit sweetness, hazelnut and light spice with nice oak tannins drying on the side of the mouth.
Finish: Crisp and fruity, glazed cherries drying with a lingering spice.
