This special bottle is the fifth release in Jack Daniels limited edition Gold Medal Series, celebrating the various gold medals awarded to the distillery and its iconic whisky. The series honors a significant moment in Jack Daniel’s history: in 1915, four years after Jack Daniel’s death, his nephew Lem Motlow shipped Jack Daniels whisky to the Institute of Hygiene in London. The whisky was deemed unaltered and worthy of a certificate, granted on November 17, 1915. Bottled at 43%ABV
