Mortlach 1987 33 Year Old Connoisseurs Choice

A rare and elegant Mortlach 33 Year Old single malt from Gordon & MacPhails Connoisseurs Choice series. Distilled in 1987 and matured in a single refill sherry hogshead (Cask #426), it delivers layers of spiced fruitcake, clove-studded orange, red berries, and roasted nuts. Only 182 bottles released unchillfiltered and natural in colour. Bottled at 55.6%ABV

Nose: Baking spices, aged fruitcake, and clove-studded orange.

Palate: Red berries, nutmeg, citrus peel, and roasted nuts.

Finish: Long and warming, with oak, dried fruits, and subtle tannins.
