Glenmorangie A Tale of Ice Cream Highland Single Malt Scotch

To create a single malt evocative of a trip to the ice cream parlour, legendary whisky maker Dr Bill Lumsden aged this one-off Glenmorangie in a combination of bourbon barrels and toasted new oak. He carefully selected these new casks with high concentrations of vanillin, an organic compound present in oak which imparts flavours of creamy vanilla. As a result, this inviting Highland whisky is densely layered with notes of coconut, brioche, almonds and popcorn with hints of lemon, sweet anise and of course ice cream.
