The DropWorks Spice Drop is a Spiced Rum crafted with no added spices! This is real rum, with traditional spiced rum flavours generated authentically through the Rum making process. To taste, think spiced apple pie, ripe red apples, honeycomb and ginger, with a subtly sweet finish. The apple notes are generated through intensive fermentations of molasses with DropWorks own trinity yeast. The honeycomb flavours come from flash ageing American Oak chips and the ginger and spice added via flash ageing with French oak chips. At the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2024 the DropWorks Spice Drop was the highest awarded Spiced Rum winning Gold Medal and 95/100.
