Dom Prignon is pleased to unveil Dom Prignon P2 2002, the second expression of this vintage. Presence and relevance reveal a wine of 17 years of maturation.

First launched in 2008, the vintage here acquires a new expression in its Second Plenitude, marked by extra energy, intensity, vitality and depth.

Dom Prignon P2 2002 captures the spirit of the second plenitude of Dom Prignon: peak of energy, intensity, high definition and precision.

On the Nose:
The bouquet is ripe, lively and generous. The warm aromas of hay and brioche mingle with those of bergamot orange and russet stone fruit. The overall effect exudes smoky grey accents.

On the Palate:
The vibrant opening strikes the first chord, a prelude to a complexity that is more tactile than plump, and only gives of itself gradually. The distinguished viscosity is understated and simply fits around the contours of the wine. The length is exquisitely bitter and abounds with sap, a mingling of liquorice and toasted malt.

Intense, rich and dense P2 with butterscotch and toffee character, together with apricot compote, mango crumble and pie crust. This is at its height right now. Tremendous pleasure and generosity. In a beautiful place.
