Released in August 2012, this is the 4th release of Compass Box’s Flaming Heart. Inspired by a rock song, it was first released in 2006, and then only released every few years when CB have the appropriate combination of aged whiskies. This release combines Highland single malts aged in the highest quality, new French oak, with heavy-peated Islay single malts and for the first time, a small portion of whiskies aged in sherry casks. Only 9,147 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 48.9%. ( Bottle size 700ml )
