Ruby red color with gold trim. Bright and deep. Complex aromas. Great balance between fruit (cherries, black plums, ripe blackberries) and clear tones from wood (clove, pepper, vanilla and coconut). The sense of smell is even more intensified with the aromas that develop during aging in bottle. Smooth and balanced on the palate with a long and flavorful finish.

Evidence of ongoing improvements at this large bodega under winemaker Elena Adell, this is a voluminous and commendable blend, especially in a year like 2013. Tempranillo-based with 15Graciano and Mazuelo, its sappy, floral and elegant with subtle reduction and a core of sweet raspberry fruit. Not bad for 1.5m bottles. 2018-21
