At its core, Bruxo Mezcal No. 3 is made from 100% agave Espadin, a versatile and widely-used agave variety in mezcal production. The agave hearts, or pias, are roasted in underground pits, crushed, fermented, and then double-distilled in copper alembic stills. This meticulous process allows the mezcal to capture the authentic flavors of agave.
