The Ardbeg Serendipity 12 Years Old is a fascinating limited edition born out of a happy accident. In 2005, a batch of mature Ardbeg was unintentionally blended with 12-year-old Glen Moray, resulting in a unique combination of 80% peaty Ardbeg and 20% gentle Speyside malt. Rather than discard the blend, Ardbeg embraced the serendipity, bottling just 16,000 units of this special blended malt. The result is a rare whisky that marries smoky intensity with a softer, fruitier touchnow a true collectors piece.

Nose: Gentle peat smoke, citrus, vanilla, and floral hints

Palate: Sweet malt, bonfire smoke, orchard fruit, and subtle spice

Finish: Medium-long with lingering smoke and sweet oak
