Ardbeg Auriverdes Limited Edition 2014

Ardbeg Auriverdes is a special limited edition Islay single malt released for Ardbeg Day 2014 during the Feis Ile festival. Named after the Latin words for gold (auri) and green (verdes), it pays tribute to the golden whisky and Ardbegs iconic green bottle. Matured with specially toasted cask lids, Auriverdes balances bold mocha coffee flavours with smooth vanilla and herbal undertones. An exceptional dram of two halves, this collectors bottle is a testament to Ardbegs experimental spirit. Bottled at 49.9% ABV.

Nose: Roasted coffee beans, smoked herbs, and toffee.

Palate: Mocha, dark chocolate, creamy vanilla, and a hint of spice.

Finish: Long, warming, and smoky with subtle sweetness.
