The second legendary release in the Ardbeg Anthology Collection, The Unicorns Tale, is a rare single malt matured for 14 years in a unique blend of aromatic Madeira and classic bourbon casks. Inspired by the mysterious tale of the Islay Unicorn, this whisky captures the islands magic and whimsy. After a strange sighting one nightwhether it was the distillerys Shetland pony, Rory, or something more mythicalthe lore of the Islay Unicorn was born. Like the tale itself, this whisky may seem sweet at first but carries a bold, smoky twist.The Unicorns Tale is non-chill filtered at 46%.

Nose: Rich baked banana bread, syrupy sponge, and treacle, balanced by burning cedarwood and tropical fruits. A splash of water adds hints of eucalyptus and smoke.

Palate: Zesty lime, sweet peaches, and smoked fruit, followed by creosote, aniseed, and soft barley malt.

Finish: Long and smoky with lingering notes of menthol, clove, and wood smoke.
