We apologize for whispering, but there’s a mythological creature in our presence. Back in 1974, Ardbeg put a very special juice in ex-Bourbon casks and told not a soul. Then, in 1997, they released it as the Provenance expression and swept everyone off their feet.

There were four separate bottlings and seven different editions of The Provenance, but this one – this one is the very first release. Only 4,000 of them were made, by the way.
