La Grola was bought by Giovanni Allegrini in 1979 to create Valpolicella’s first single vineyard Corvina. The 30 hectare vineyard is situated at 310 metres above sea level and has a south-easterly aspect with Lake Garda in view from the top.La Grola is a full bodied, intense and elegant wine. Dark, ruby red in colour, it has aromas of wild berries, juniper, tobacco and coffee essence.
