The estate was founded in the late 40s by Albertos grandfather Leopoldo who began to cultivate a small plot of Cesanese. Albertos work is based on the concept of making wine respecting the environment and the bond with the territory and his family history. To do this they try to use techniques that are as environmentally friendly as possible, and focus on indigenous varieties. Nena is named for Albertos grandmother. The wine is made from the Passerina grape with extended skin contact, and partial fermentation in oak revealing a round and approachable Orange wine!
