Fruit for the Achaval Ferrer Cabernet Franc is sourced from vines grown at 1100 metres above sea-level in the Tupungato wine region of Argentina. Here, the great sun exposure combined with the cool mountain breeze, allows the grapes to ripen harmoniously providing a full pallet of aromas and flavours: from black fruit to the freshness of tomato leaf and rosemary. Fermented in cement tanks the wine is matured in new French oak barrels for 13 months prior to bottling.
