2012 Il Falcone Castel del Monte Rosso Riserva DOCG

A blend of 70% Nero di Troia and 30% Montepulciano, this is an enticingly savory and earthy wine with lots of appeals. Aromas of spiced red cherry, cured meat, peppery tobacco and anise meld seamlessly on the nose. The aromas are echoed on the mouthwatering and engaging palate of medium weight, lingering on a sanguine note. Currently grippy and structured with grainy tannins, this will soften with time in the bottle, giving way to its wealth of complexities. Enjoy 2020.
