‘L’Inattendue’ means ‘unexpected’, and it is unexpected because it is rare in Champagne to see an entry-range cuve made from a single grape variety: a 100% Pinot Meunier, the main grape variety on the estate. Aged for 3 years before disgorged with 1.5 g/l dosage. Simple and elegant, L’Inattendue offers a beautiful effervescence, a delicate nose, and an aromatic combination of roundness, fruit and freshness.

Just a stones throw away from Reims, Vincent Lagille stands proudly in front of the Domaine Lagille sign, a placard welcoming people to the village of Trelson, recounting his familys long history in this distinct region. The Lagille family have been making wine in Treslon in the Valle de lArdre, since 1818a point of pride for this young, driven winemaker.
