Bains 7-Year Sonic Cellar Edition

A special limited release from the James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington, Western Cape, this Bains whisky underwent unique maturation. Starting as the standard Bains, it matured for 7 years in wood before spending an additional 3 months in the distillerys innovative sonic cellar. During this time, the music of South African artist Tellaman was played into the barrels, encouraging constant interaction between the whisky and the wood. Only 6,000 bottles were produced. Bottled at 48.6% ABV (750ml).

Nose: Floral notes with banana, honey, toasted hazelnuts, toffee, wood, vanilla, and spice.

Palate: Rich vanilla, cocoa butter, and gentle spices deliver a warm mouthfeel.

Finish: Exceptionally smooth and lingering.
