Launched in 2021, Clan Colla is the super-premium collection of hand-selected releases from the Ahascragh Distillers Family Bond Series. Smooth yet complex, the Clan Colla 11 Year Old Irish Whiskey is made using a blend of fine malt and grain whiskies. The sourced malt is double distilled, blended with grain, then triple casked in ex-bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry butts and peated casks. Finally, theyre left to age for 11 years. On the nose, an earthy aroma with hints of toasted oak. Upon tasting, theres a rich honey sweetness, combined with salted citrus and sherry notes.
