Champagne Jacquesson Cuve No. 746 Grand Vin Extra Brut is an expression of the 2018 vintage. Theharvest covers A, Dizy, Hautvillers (66%), Avize and Oiry (34%). Winter and spring are exceptionally dry, the beginning of spring is mild but in April, destructive frosts ravage the vineyard , especially the Cte des Blancs. The temperatures then rise and the weather is fine until July. The end of the season is hot but very rainy. Harvest commenced on September 4 and finished on September 13th. Rigorous sorting generates a low-volume harvest but allows for ripe and healthy grapes. The wines are rich and dense and the Cuve is complimented with some reserve wines.
