Gilles & Romain Collet’s Crmant de Bourgogne Brut is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from the tiny commune of Villy. Fermented in stainless steel the wine rests on its lees for 24 months and then, after disgorgement, it rests a further 9 months in bottle. Brilliant and luminous straw yellow in colour this Crmant de Bourgogne has a wonderful and persistent mousse. Aromas of white fleshed fruit, citrus and subtle spicy notes of white pepper and nutmeg with hints of brioche. The palate is fresh, elegant, full of finesse and creaminess.
