Writer’s Tears Double Oak Irish Whiskey
Launched in 2019 as a core expression in the Writers Tears range which focuses on exploring the style of blended whiskey popularised in 18th century Ireland: aged single pot still whiskey blended with single malt. Triple distilled and matured in a combination of American oak bourbon barrels from Kentucky and French oak cognac casks from France. Non-chill filtered and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose:Dashes of sweet vanilla, notes of cinnamon, plum & poached pear.

Palate:Citrus zest, chocolate undertones and lingering spice.

Finish:Decadent and elegant. One to savour
