A single cask release from the Balmenach distillery in Speyside, bottled by Douglas Laing in their Old Malt Cask (OMC) range. Distilled in December 2004, matured in a refill barrel and bottled in January 2019. Only 180 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 50%.
Nose: Aromas of malted barley, honey, and dried fruits with hints of vanilla and oak.
Palate: Rich and smooth with flavors of toffee, citrus zest, and a touch of spice.
Finish: Long and warming, featuring lingering notes of vanilla, oak, and subtle fruitiness.
