The original wheated bourbon and one of many top class bourbons being made at the Buffalo Trace distillery. A mix of grains are used to make W L Weller and the recipe is known to contain a high proportion of wheat grain when compared to standard bourbons. This is a sweet and pleasantly fruity tasting bourbon that is excellent over ice or in your favourite whiskey cocktail.

Nose: Sweet with aromas of caramel, honey, and a of citrus.

Palate: Smooth and rich with flavors of vanilla, oak, and dried fruit, complemented by a touch of spice and butterscotch.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering notes of toffee, dark chocolate, and a gentle oak presence.
