The First Edition is Mackmyras first core range bottling. A large proportion of the whisky is aged in 100-liter casks, giving a powerful maturation. Also used are newly manufactured Swedish oak casks which gives a lovely spiciness. The base is the Elegant recipe, matured in first fill bourbon and stored 50 feet below ground in the Bods Mine. Bottled at46.1% ABV (Bottle size 1L)

Nose:Fruity with citrus, pear, apple and honey. A light oakiness with sweet, lightly toasted bread notes and fresh butter toffee.

Palete: Fruity and smooth with citrus, caramel and honey. A light oakiness can be discerned at the end.

Finish:The aftertaste is tuned and balanced with hints of dark chocolate.
