Village level Grner Veltliner from multiple parcels around the town of Unterloiben. Vinified in stainless steel and old cask, aged on lees for 3 months.

Ripe aromas of apricot, lemon, pineapple with hints of white flowers, white pepper. Medium-bodied with juicy fruit on the palate, lively acidity, elegant texture, stone mineral and salty on the long finish.

Emmerich Knolls (pronounced with a hard K) family has been producing wines in the village of Unterloiben in the Wachau region of Austria for three generations in tandem with running the 400 year old Loibnerhof Familie Knoll restaurant in the town of Durstein. Its a family affair.
