Laphroaig Lore

Released in 2016 as part of the Islay distillery’s core range, Laphroaig Lore was created by distillery manager John Campbell in honour of the passing of skill and tradition through word of mouth through generations to continue Laphroaig’s legacy. Produced from single malts aged from 7 to 21 years old, matured in a combination of quarter casks, sherry casks and refilled peated casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at48% ABV

Nose: Pungent peat smoke and seaside minerals with a hint of ash and chocolate.

Palate: Lively with hints of bitter chocolate, ash and a spicy chilli bite.

Finish: Short, dry finish with a lingering sweet aftertaste.
