The latest flagship single malt from the family-owned Kingsbarns distillery in the Lowlands. Scottish for Dovecot, Doocot is named after a traditional nesting shelter for doves and pigeons. Theres a 200-year-old example at the distillery which is home to the first cask of Kingsbarns whisky ever filled. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon (90%) and STR (shaved, toasted, and re-charred) ex-Portuguese red wine (10%) casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. Nose:Sweet and floral, soft brown sugar with banana cake batter and tropical notes.

Palate: Pineapple syrup, summer berries and a hint of rhubarb.

Finish: Kiwi fruit and citrus zest.
