Released in June 2018, this is the 6th release of Compass Box’s Flaming Heart. Inspired by a rock song, it was first released in 2006, and then only released every few years when CB have the appropriate combination of aged whiskies. This release again combines Highland single malts aged in heavily toasted French oak barrels with heavily peated Islay malt. It also comprises a small proportion of sherry cask influenced whisky, which Compass Box included in the 2012 edition. 15,050 bottles and 800 magnums were produced. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 48.9%.
